What a day!

Today started out as a rather normal day but right now...I am not so sure any more! I have witnessed some of the craziest things I have ever set my innocent eyes on.
I am not going to tell you about how the 'day' part of today has been, I am going to jump straight to the evening. I was invited to the 360 Network I-forum that was held at the Garden City roof top, It was an awesome event - The US Ambassador to Uganda was there *main speaker* and I got to meet a couple of people I have been chatting with on Twitter for awhile. Basically it was a great event.

After the forum, I headed out to Iguana for the usual Rock night with DJ Tumz. I got there and all my friends were not there so I drove to Ntinda to meet them. When I got there I was told about this Bachelor's party of one of my friend's friend and they all decided we go there. I had never been to Silk Ocean Club so I was like WTH! We go!!!

We got there about mid night. On entering we found when the dude getting married was getting a HOT lap dance from some naked babe *stripper is the right word* this went on for about 10 minutes and then a swam of naked girls filled the club, these were dancing with whoever had trousers. It was fun watching the dude get crazy and after a couple of hours, I saw what I am not sure I will forget in a very long time!
Two -ish hot babes stormed the pole *yes, there is a stripper pole right in the middle of the club!* and started getting their thing on. I am not going to get into the details but all I can say is "WE NEED JESUS"
Babes dropped their bras and I was thinking, Ok that is all they will do and before I knew it, their parties were off!!! I was like What da fuck and they went a head to do stuff that I can not even type * Unless of course I turn my blog into above 18* Seriously I have seen that stuff in movies and I would never ever imagine it going on here in Uganda!
I guess that is what Silk Ocean is about!!

Hobbies

I have always had a thing for technology. From the moment i saw a computer *I actually still remember every bit about that day -apart from the date of course* Anyways I was never taught how to switch it or even use - I did all that by myself *of course I messed up a couple of things along the way* I still remember the first time I independently accessed the Internet. I click the IE Icon and was taken to the MSN home page, there was news about t.A.T.u I had just watched their single 'All the things she said' on MTV so I knew them and was TOO EXCITED that was in 1999.
From ever since my passion has always been technology related *I have a huge feeling that the day I get enough more to blow on myself - I will turn into some GIZMO - I have a huge thing for gadgets, sucks that finances have denied my that joy*
I studies Information Technology at University which I did very well *without doubt*  **On a related note - I am never going to forgive Uganda Christian University for denying me my first class. But that is a story of another day!**
I have been in the ICT field for a couple of years, been running a couple of IT related ventures for some years too.
It is from running these venture that I discovered my second passion - Business
Almost everyday I come up with these business ideas. I have an eye for business opportunities. I can be reading a magazine or a blog about business and believe me I will find an opportunity that can be very profitable. You may ask me why I am not a millionaire or anything like that? Well, I am have a MAJOR problem - I don't not do follow ups. I don't follow up my ideas. I am not sure how I am ever going to change that and I hope I do soon cause I am throwing away major opportunities **yes, I know it too**

I am not that much of a social person so I won't lie -Though I try to be ;)
I was a sports person in my younger days - these days the only sports I play is in front of my TV or the computers. *I am pretty good at these*

Night Owl - Can't sleep!

I have two things to blame for this. Number one is the cable tv DSTV! I was introduced to cable tv when I was still to young (10 years old). I would stay up at night watching movies and this went on until I was in high school and that is when the second cause came in.
School, well, from way back in primary three, I started getting a Class teacher's comment on my report card that never changed till I left high school "Jumpy and can do better" Note that I was always in the top 5 *Well for primary school, things changed fast in high school*. What did they want me to do be the first all the time? How would the other kids feel like? Anyways back to why I can't sleep. So I used to play a lot during classes, prep time and basically all the time that students were awake. To make up for the time and make sure that I am not chased from school for being the last in class *and surprise the idiots that thought i was dense* I would stay up nights reading. This went on all through my education life. There was nothing rewarding like seeing the look on the haters when they would find out that I had beaten them in class! One word AWESOME!
So I ended up becoming a night walker, a night owl... so many names to it!
This has been both good and bad - Hell I am all alone! Damn lonely cold nights *thank God I don't be in bed holding my pillow, that would be WEAK*
Note this is as of TODAY *I doubt if it will be for long though*

Dying away before it is born!

I think my previous disease is catching up with me again! I have started up blogs before but they all die after just a couple of post - this is one was/is about to die with only one post *how sad!* anyways so this morning I log on to Twitter and I she this tweet about how someone is going to be a great woman this year and before I know it I am clicking the link to get more info, so I check out the person's profile and there is a link to her blog, I went straight to it and I have to say, It an interesting 30 mins of reading time and it got me thinking about my own blog so here I am!

I have been thinking about starting up a series of how I am spending my leave to figure out if it has been worth it or if i just wasted it away! It has been 9 days since I started my leave so I have to remember a couple of things from last week. I should make my first post before the end of the day.
